The 3D Construction System is a highly cost-efficient method utilizing prefabricated 3D panels. These panels feature an EPS (expanded polystyrene) core, typically 50 to 100 mm thick, sandwiched between two parallel welded wire mesh sheets (cover meshes). Diagonal wires pass through the EPS core, connecting to the cover mesh’s line wires, creating a lightweight, three-dimensional truss system with exceptional stiffness.

The components of CST 3D elements can be designed and dimensioned like conventional reinforced concrete components. The connecting bars used are similar to those in traditional reinforced concrete structures, with the amount of reinforcement adjusted to meet structural requirements. In areas with low seismic activity, standard vertical connecting bars are sufficient. However, in regions with higher earthquake risks, the reinforcement must be appropriately strengthened to ensure safety.
